Reading Room grant

  • Up to £10k per annum dedicated to supporting branch churches and societies in extending their reading room opening hours
  • Intended to cover the employment of an individual or to be shared between several workers
  • Available for the next two or three years to allow churches time to recruit reading room workers
  • A further grant of £500 is available for professional advice on employment and PAYE procedures
